UL Certification of Fire Alarm Central Station vs Remote Station Service.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The differences between them are: the level of service required by the alarm company to ensure the system is back in service. In the event of a fire the system must be operating. I have seen alarm keypads registering \u201cTROUBLE CONDITION”  within restaurants or lodging quarter offices. People are at risk! They may think there is fire protection. However, NO alarms will sound as the fire alarm is down!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Jade Alarm Co. is a U.L. Certified Full Service Company. NOT a Remote Station!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the event of an ALARM or TROUBLE signal a 2-hour time window is required for response. If the facility management is unable to get the system back in service we will dispatch a Jade Alarm technician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Alarm example is a water flow alarm or smoke detector triggering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Trouble signal example is could be caused by broken wire or AC power failure or low battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Supervisory signal could be caused by a low air pressure on a dry-pipe sprinkler. It could also be caused by a low temperature signal within the warehouse. In the event of a SUPERVISORY signal on a fire alarm, a 4-hour time window is required for response.  If the facility management is unable to get the system back in service a Jade Alarm technician will be dispatched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
